Don't ya just hate when computers screw up??! I dunno what I did to mine, but now when I go to save animated GIF or JPEG images, they always save as Bitmap instead, which in return, doesn't make any of my animated pictures (for my website) work. My dogs are spoiled too - caught Juno the other morning trying tomake off with my hot pocket that was going to the office with. Caught her red- handed I did. Lucky for me mine are nottotally spoiled- theyw ill still eat dog food. Our Solstice Weekend
|
WE havea solstice day celebration in our area too out at Toltec Mounds state park. It is the site of a ancient(like before Cherokee in Arkansas) tribe who built their tallest mound in conjunction with the Summer and Winter Solstice. Its a really neat place but it sure whould have been hot as it is on the edge of the Delta- all flat with the sun shining down. I tried tha tpage thing over at xanga but am not skilled enough to make it what i want it to be so I guess its here I shall stay. I luv good finds at sales and flea markets. have a great evening ! RYN: Sorry for not replying to your comment sooner! To get the hands, smiley faces, etc. go to the font "Wingdings". After you do that, just start typing letters and see what you like. You probably have to make the font size larger to see the actual picture. Try just typing, and then there's also pics with the "Shift"..then a letter. Interesting Entry! I don't think I can professionally help you, but I can give you some tips (some that you probably already know) that helps me lose weight and other people I know. Of course the main things are drink more water, eat more veggies, and of course, the dreadful: exercise. You mentioned somethin about a Richard Simmons video? How bout you try the Winsor Pilates? I heard they really work! I will get to try them out in about 2 weeks =D But you can use whatever you like, of course. Any kind of exercise is good for ya =) Your friend had a good idea about going a week without junk food. But what usually happens to me is I cut out allll junk food and then I end up binging on it cause I'm craving it so bad. Maybe you should try by cutting out one thing. Like for example (example only!) let's say you eat 3 Snickers every week. Cut out the Snickers (plus any kind of candy bar) for a week. See how you do, then if you make it, you can reward yourself with like maybe a bite size (the little ones you get in a bag). Or go shopping =) That's the best! Or if you think that you might still binge doing that, do something I do sometimes. I have a bad thing for Milky Ways. LoL..their my faves =) So whenever I crave one, I always go for the Milky Way Lite. Their still bad for you, but it's less on cals and fats. So try going for something like that. Do you drink soft drinks? Gawd, I use to drink like 5-10 soft drinks a day! I then replaced those soft drinks with water and diet drinks (altho you should still drink more water). I lost 1-3 pds my first week just by taking out the soft drinks! And if you like eating chips, get the baked ones =) That's what I do now. Actually their really good =) What keeps me going is I have a bathing suit hanging up in my room that gives me motivation. So try getting something that you wanna fit into, hang it up somewhere, and each time you think of eating something unhealthy (like pizza or something) you look at that. =) I feel like I've wrote a freakin book! I've only been to Austin once but found that it had some cool places to be. My friend's family hada house on the river near that big park - I really liked that. Weather here ahs been beautiful too - everything is so green and yellow w/ all the pollen. Still my fav time of the year in spite of all the sneezing and such - LOL.
